MBA in Bengaluru at a glance

Bengaluru is home to IIM Bangalore, ranked No. 2 in the NIRF 2025 management list, plus four more NIRF-ranked management schools: Christ, Alliance, Jain and Presidency. Admissions here run on several tests at once: CAT for IIMB and the top PGDM schools, SNAP for SIBM Bengaluru, and the state routes KMAT (KPPGCA) and Karnataka PGCET (KEA) for many university-affiliated MBA seats. For placements, the city's big draw is its tech and Global Capability Centre (GCC) economy. A TeamLease Digital study put Bengaluru's share of India's GCC workforce at about 36%.
