Options range from CAT-driven PGDMs at MDI and Great Lakes to university MBAs at BML Munjal, Amity, IILM, NorthCap, SGT and the state-run Gurugram University. No separate Haryana MBA entrance test verified. HSTES (Haryana State Technical Education Society) says it handles admissions in disciplines including Management, but its site did not show MBA-specific rules for 2026-27.

MDI Gurgaon is ranked 9 in NIRF 2025 Management, the highest in the city. Great Lakes Gurgaon (50), BML Munjal University (77) and Amity University Haryana (101-125) are the other NIRF-ranked options.
Which exam do I need for MDI Gurgaon?
CAT 2026 is required for MDI's PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-Business Analytics and PGDM-BFS. GMAT is accepted only for PGDM-IB, and MDI says Indian candidates cannot apply on GMAT scores.
Which Gurugram MBA colleges accept CMAT or MAT?
BML Munjal University accepts CMAT alongside CAT, NMAT, GMAT, XAT, GRE and its BMU-MAT. IILM University accepts MAT and CMAT, and Amity University Haryana accepts national MBA entrance scores or the Amity Test.
Is there a government MBA option in Gurugram?
Yes. Gurugram University, a Haryana state government university set up in 2017, runs MBA and MBA Business Analytics programmes through merit lists and open counselling.
