MBA Colleges in Mumbai 2026-27: MAH-CET, CAT and NMAT Admissions

Mumbai has its own IIM, IIM Mumbai in Powai (NIRF 2025 rank 6), and five more NIRF top-100 management schools: IIT Bombay's SJMSOM, SPJIMR, NMIMS, K J Somaiya and Welingkar. Admission routes vary more here than in most cities. JBIMS, SIMSREE and other MMS institutes fill seats through MAH-MBA/MMS CET, CAT and CMAT in the Maharashtra CAP rounds, NMIMS uses NMAT, and IIM Mumbai uses CAT. IIM Mumbai uses CAT and NMIMS uses NMAT. JBIMS takes MAH-MBA/MMS CET, CAT and CMAT through the CAP rounds. SPJIMR's exam options are CAT, XAT, GMAT and GRE, and K J Somaiya accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, CMAT and others.
