Which plans are no-cost?

No-cost EMI is listed by Uttaranchal, Sikkim Manipal, Manav Rachna, Sharda, Shoolini, LPU, UPES, Manipal Jaipur (MUJ), DY Patil Pune, Amity. No-cost means you repay the fee amount without visible interest, but a processing fee can still apply. A no-cost plan may also remove a discount you would get by paying upfront, so compare both totals.

Share your budget and a counsellor will compare plans on WhatsApp.

Which plans carry interest?

  • Yenepoya: EMI with interest (about 15–18% a year).
  • Vignan: EMI with interest; no-cost EMI not available.
  • Parul: EMI at 10.5% interest.
  • Manipal Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal: the 24-month plan carries interest, while 6 to 18 months is no-cost.
  • DY Patil Pune: 24 months costs about 3.8% a year, while shorter plans are no-cost.

What is advance EMI?

Advance EMI means you pay some instalments upfront, when the loan starts. Your monthly amount stays the same, but your first payment is larger. Propelld plans usually have no advance EMI, while Fibe and Avanse plans often do. Ask how many instalments are collected at the start.

How to work out the true cost

  1. Take the fee your plan actually finances, not the headline fee.
  2. Add registration, exam and processing fees.
  3. Add any interest for your tenure.
  4. Compare that total with the upfront or semester price.

For example, Manipal Jaipur costs ₹1,84,000 on full-fee EMI but ₹1,56,400 if you pay in full, a gap of ₹27,600. The fee & EMI calculator helps with your own numbers.

Documents lenders usually ask for

  • PAN and Aadhaar or another photo ID
  • Recent salary slips or income proof
  • Bank statement for recent months
  • Admission or fee details from the university

Most plans are loans, so the lender may check your credit score and report repayments. A missed EMI can affect your credit record.
